Good Morning from Silicon Valley!

Did you have a good morning? Mine started a little more dramatically than I’d like to admit. As soon as I opened my eyes, I dashed out to grab a smoothie and breakfast from the corner cafe next to my hotel. But just as I was crossing the street, I almost got hit by a Tesla Cybertruck. Thanks to my quick reflexes, I managed to avoid disaster—and thankfully didn’t drop any of the food I was holding. Lesson learned: carrying a bunch of things while walking around Palo Alto during rush hour is probably not the best idea!

Now, I know the locals here will probably tell you it’s cold today, but as someone who’s flying back and forth to Vegas every week, I’m loving this chilly morning air. Especially on a rainy day like today—there’s something refreshing about it. Well, except for that one day… that one day was an exception.

By the way, fun (or terrifying) fact: when I landed this morning, I found out that San Francisco had a tornado! Of all the days, this was the one. Now, I’ll admit, the plane was bouncing around like crazy during the descent, and I couldn’t help but think I was in a hundred-year-old car riding on a bumpy country road. Anyone else think the landing in SF is way more rough compared to other cities? Let me know if you agree!

As soon as I arrived at the airport, I seriously thought the wind was going to carry me away. At this point, I might just have to move to Silicon Valley permanently—might be safer!

After grabbing lunch, I checked my phone and, as expected, I had a ton of missed calls and messages. It’s all about the new house I bought last week. I’ve been getting an avalanche of documents from my realtor and other people involved in the process. I just want to finish all the paperwork and start remodeling, but it feels like something keeps coming up and holding me back.

I have a packed week ahead. Aside from the house stuff, I was planning to upgrade my website, but... yeah, that’s one of those things I just can’t seem to muster the energy for right now. I’ve also been meaning to upload some new photos and redo the design—maybe one day I’ll get around to it!

Oh, and my birthday is coming up soon, so I guess it’s time to finally put together that shopping list. 😄
